CLIENT: VIRGIN HOLIDAYS
Throughout 2014 we designed and developed a number of innovative mobile solutions for Virgin Holidays, including a new mobile app, backend app management platform and MojoMatcher; a fun and inspirational game where you rapidly select the images that most appeal to you and your mojo, and at the end you are served up three destinations that will turn your mojo up to the max.
Behind the scenes, MojoMatcher is based on a complex algorithm developed from a concept by brand agency LIDA and has been built in responsive HTML5 to enable its use across all digital platforms and devices.
As well as playing MojoMatcher, within the mobile app you can also explore over 75 destinations, check the latest offers, find your nearest store or contact the various sales channels to book your dream holiday.
“With people always on the go, we wanted to give them the freedom to be able to get excited about going on holiday, even when they didn’t have time to sit down at a computer or visit one of our Retail Stores,” said James Ward, brand and digital engagement manager for Virgin Holidays.
“By giving people access to exciting content in the palm of their hands and add the MojoMatcher game to inspire them we hope that the Virgin Holidays App get people’s Mojo revved up for their next trip with Virgin Holidays.”
