Using Video to Help Recruit


There are many studies that demonstrate the effectiveness of video and the increased engagement it creates online. For employers, placing video alongside a job vacancy on platforms such as LinkedIN can help attract the best talent to apply, saving time during the recruitment process and helping filter out unsuitable candidates. And with this increased awareness and understanding of the role at application stage, it can also help reduce staff churn in the early days of starting a new job.

We recently produced one such video for our client, Virgin Holidays, to help them with a recruitment drive particularly in its growing national network of shops. Filming with brand ambassador, Ben Fogle, the video offers a quick insight into the brand, its ethics the expectations and perks of working for the UK’s best long haul holiday company.
