An Olympic Evening

Gemma Spofforth - 100m Backstroke World Record Holder

An Olympic Evening

Local Accountants, Spofforths, hosted an ‘Olympic Evening’ at Chichester’s Minerva Theatre on 19th December. Olympian and former GMTV presenter Andrew Castle interviewed Gemma Spofforth (100m Backstroke World Record Holder) about her life and hopes for London 2012. They were both joined on stage by fellow Olympian Mark Foster to talk about his time mentoring the British swimming team throughout the Beijing Olympics and he went on to express his hopes for the swimming team at the London Olympics.

We were given the task of creating a number of video edits and motion graphic segments that would be played at various stages throughout the evening on stage, complimenting the interview with emotional audio/visual links as Andrew and Gemma discussed her career to date.

For Blue Juice site, where ident already exists in video file

The main challenge we faced on this project was collating all the footage provided from various sources, across a diverse range of formats and of varying quality - and brining this all together to help tell Gemmas story.

The evening was a great success as Andrew, Mark and Gemma entertained the audience with some truly inspirational stories - we hope our content added to the experience!
