Rowing the Atlantic!

Team Atlantic Splash

OK, well lets clear something up first - its not actually us rowing the Atlantic, its the crazy guys over at Team Atlantic Splash that have signed up to a gruelling 3000 mile journey as part of the Talisker Whiskey Atlantic Challenge

Atlantic Splash is the story of five ordinary men taking on an extraordinary adventure. No top of the draw rowers, no seasoned ‘round the world’ adventurers, no incredible athletes, just a bunch of good friends from the South Coast of England.

Behind every great team is a fantastic support crew, and thats how we see ourselves! We are in the process of developing a few mobile applications that will help the team raise funds in the build up to the event, and then act as a real time tracking and communcation tool for when they set off on the 2nd December 2013...

Fremlin Walk Christmas AR App

Christmas AR Campaign

We had a lot of fun creating the augmented reality app for this project - and it was the first time we launched an Android AR app alongside the iOS release.

Fremlin Walk's innovative augmented reality advent calendar app has caught the imagination of savvy shoppers with over 1000 downloaded offers in the first 10 days of being launched

By downloading the app from the Apple App Store or the Android Market Place shoppers used the augmented reality feature to reveal daily offers on the giant advent calendar at Fremlin Walk. Push notifications were also used to send random spot prizes each day until Christmas Eve – shoppers just needed to make sure they were the first to claim the prize by rushing to the retailer with the unique code.

Welcome to the team!

Phil Martin joins as iOS Developer

It is with great pleasure that we welcome Phil Martin to the team.

Phil joins the mobile app team at Blue Juice, focusing on Apple iOS development and Technical Account Management. Before joining Blue Juice Phil successfully designed, coded and released a number of children's educational game apps. As an ex semi-pro footballer, Phil has already made his mark in the office, kicking off the Blue Juice monthly Fifa 2013 league. He is also an avid Chelsea fan, but don't hold that against him!

We look forward to introducing Phil to clients over the coming weeks.
